2025 Frostburg Elks Derby Day Important Dates

Driver & Sponsor Registration: Deadline is June 1, 2025

         Tuesday and Thursday inspections are 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

         Sunday Inspections are 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.     

 

Inspections are held at Frostburg Elks. Inspections slots are by appointment only. Text sponsors name, drivers name, and the day you wish to be inspected to Jim Meyers @240-580-0968.

         Tuesday May 27th                 Thursday May 29th                Sunday June 1st

         Tuesday June 3rd                  Thursday June 5th                  Sunday June 8th

         Tuesday June 10th                 Thursday June 12th                Tuesday June 17th

         Thursday June 19th             

 

 

                                           Location of the trial runs is TBD. Each driver must complete 2 successful runs.

 

Final Weigh-In

July 2nd and 3rd 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  City Place 14 S Water St Frostburg

There are no weigh-ins on race day.   Cars will remain at City Place after weigh-ins. 

Driver shirts will be handed out.   Derby Day rules will be distributed to Pit Bosses

All Drivers must get their photo take by Bernie’s Photography at the weigh-in.

 

 

Race Day - July 4th

City Place will be open at 6:30 a.m. for car pick up.  Cars must be picked up at City Place no later than 7:30 a.m.

One pop-up canopy per drive

Driver parade will start at 9:00 a.m. with the race starting shortly after.

Awards celebration will be held on July 5th 2:00p.m. at the Frostburg Elks Lodge #0470.
